Cheltenham Day One: HWR Summary (11th March)
🐎 The Short Go (2:40pm)
He was given a lot to do today by Rachel Blackmore and ran very well to land on our 5/2 5th place tip. He would never have beaten the winner, Myretown and Patrick Wadge deserved the win.

🐎 Total Look - (4:40pm)
Total Look was never really travelling today and his rhythm was knocked with a few bad jumps. We’re going to keep watching him as we think his day will come soon.

🐎 Haiti Couleurs - (5:20pm)
HWR secured its first victory at Cheltenham 2025, with Haiti Couleurs delivering a comfortable win at 9/2, alongside an even-money place. A fantastic result for our members! This winning bet brought in a £80 profit for the day, meaning if you backed it, you've just covered three months of your HWR subscription—proof that this service truly pays for itself!

Cheltenham Day Two: HWR Summary
🐎 Final Demand (1:20pm) looked a bit one paced in the final stages of the race, finishing with a respectable 3rd place.

🐎 Be Aware (2:40pm) was given a lot to do, came wide and ran on well but never reached the leaders.

🐎 Mister Coffey (3:20pm) was an unlucky 5th place, he’s a hold-up horse that likes to creep forward, so he isn’t used to finding himself three lengths clear, which is what happened when all the front runners briefly took the wrong turn on the course. Not an ideal day for Mr Coffey.

🐎 There were tears and tissues aplenty when dearly departed Micheal O’Sullivan’s usual mount, Marine Nationale (4pm), bolted up by 14 lengths and secured the win. Marine Nationale secures HWR’s second win at Cheltenham Festival 2025 and leaves us £130 up over the two days so far!

🐎 We were devastated to see the snow this morning as JPR One (4:40pm) needs good ground and the weather today did not help his cause, he still ran a cracker and would have made our place bet had he not almost fallen at the second to last.

🐎 Path D’Oroux (4:40pm) was given an impossible task from last place; he made rapid headway when tree out but couldn’t sustain the run from that far back. We’re sure he will win one of these big handicap races soon!

Total profit from Cheltenham Festival week 2025: Lost £190
Being transparent is part of what makes us authentic and real. No one wins every time, and it's important to show the full picture. That said, we still closed March 2025 with a solid £257 profit overall — proving consistency wins in the long run.
What we learned...
Cheltenham wasn’t our most successful run — two winning days and two losing — but it came with valuable lessons.
During this testing phase, we played it cautious for our members, avoiding backing multiple horses in a single race. Looking back, that cautious approach held us back. Had we followed our instincts and backed every runner we fancied, regardless of how many were in one race, we’d have had a much stronger Cheltenham.
We know it’s easy for any tipster to say that after the event — so we’ve laid it all out clearly.

We break down the selections we tracked, the bets we nearly sent, and the proof behind what we really fancied throughout the festival.
